How to wear: Harem Pants

The slouchy fabric and loose-fitting style usually means they are supremely comfortable and as a result are more traditionally worn as part of a casual outfit (tucked into ugg boots etc). However the draped style also means that they are very versatile and with the right accessories can be the focal point of an equally glamourous outfit.

The top tip (when styling them up) is to always keep the top half simple, a sleek sillouette is absolutely essential when pairing with billowing shapes (the same rule applies for maxi skirts etc). A heel is a must (the higher the better) and we would suggest a more open shoe/sandal/boot (the edgier the better).

If you do go edgy with the footwear, then keep the top half quite classic [as well as sleek] - the trousers should always be the centre of attention! You could consider the following combinations (for the top half):

• A cropped blazer worn over a subtly embellished biker-tee/vest top. Add a long rope necklace to draw the eye up and down the centre of your body;
• A simple fitted tee (tucked into the trousers) with statement necklace (your stella and dot would be ideal);
• A cropped fitted tee/top (in warmer weather) and you could also add a statement belt to the trousers which will further emphasise your fabulous waist.
