Summer holiday survial guide

The holidays are almost upon us and most of us are already preoccupied with planning how to keep the little ones entertained throughout the summer months.

Here at Pixie we want to recreate that feeling of when we were young and the idea of weeks with no school was the most exciting thing ever!

Here are our top 5 tips to make this summer with your children, one to remember:

1. Get creative! Your little ones can take the world of creative building everywhere with our range of world famous construction toy Lego and Duplo. Together with activity toy brand Djeco, our extensive selection of educational toys and games is guaranteed to engage and entertain.

2. Be prepared. Even if your plane's not delayed and the car doesn't break down, we all need distractions on summer holiday journeys. Pixie has a great range of portable playthings for every occasion from classic Melissa and Doug word game, hangman, to the John Crane ‘Shore Thing’ bucket, perfect for those days down the beach... or in the sand pit!

3. Your holiday home. Holiday still a few weeks away or looking to recreate that holiday feeling at home? Evoke the essence of warm, velvety beaches with this coconut palm candle from True Grace. Spend over £50 on our True Grace range and get a complimentary candle.

4. Go back to basics. Whether you’re packing for a holiday in the sun or enjoying a staycation in the UK, you need versatile essentials in your holiday wardrobe. The Black White Denim Basics collection at Pixie comprises eight styles of cotton and jersey tops and bottoms, including, short and long sleeve round and V-neck tee shirts, sleeveless vests, camisole vests, a trapeze top, and a legging. Something to suit every occasion.

5. …and relax! Whether you need to moisturize sun kissed skin or just take some time out to relax, our range of premium skincare products from Burts Bees, Green & Spring and de Mamiel, will protect and brighten, keeping you and your skin looking its best during the summer months.
